AMITYVILLE THE AWAKENING (2014 film)

This is the 18th (!) official film of the “Amitiville horror series”, after DeFeo Jr. shot six members of his family (1974). Filmed in 2014 (according Wikipedia), the movie suffered numerous release delays before finally being delivered for free on Google Play on October 12, 2017. And Dimension Films (the credits) perfomed a limited release on October 28, 2017 (Weinstein was fired from the company on October 8... Im not who to excoriate. And sure, we have just the edible information).

James Walker is an ill lad, vegetative state. But he was healthy. He had two sisters (Belle, the older, keeps the secret about the sickness) and a mother who loves him unconditionally. She gets “a bargain” in Amityville. Yes, I said Amityville. “… Just a spooky house, but a bargain”. But to the autochthonous (and the international meanings too!) was the place where terror began, and the reason of the popularity of the town. The house is “paranormally alive”? From where will come “the voices”? Regarding Jimmy, seems to be better dwelling there, but still unconscious. Dr. Milton will find very difficult deal with him. And the juveniles gets the motto “is real if you believe is real” on a creepy way. In FORTY YEARS several families was overcoming the ban. The walkers could escape the curse? A demonic entity will bring to life belle’s brother?
